Radio Telephony Empty

We have been overwhelmed lately with requests for RT training and licences. Unfortunately, it has not yet been possible to address this issue within the State despite chasing it very hard to try to get someone over from the UK as we did before.

However, EGAST, published an electronic, interactive book on RT phraseology, last month. It is an ingenious publication and the European Microlight Federation were instrumental in it's development, as you will see from most of the photographs.

Where it shows a call you can press play to hear both sides ( ATC and the pilot )

We will continue to address the issue of getting our members RT licences. In the meantime we are making this book a free download. It is a 9 mb download so it is quite big but it's a must for anyone wishing to learn or brush up on their RT skills and it is completely tailored to the GA community. It even has a section solely for helicopters.

Available from HERERadio Telephony Pdf now for download.

All the best
