There was a lovely inversion layer at about 2000ft caused by the freeezing fog not allowing any sunshine through and the air above becoming warmer than the air below! The mountains stopped the flow of low cloud and the whole county to the left was clear blue sky all day! you could see in the next pics that anywhere there was a Gap in the mountains the cloud could flow through like dry ice at a 70's disco :-) only to dissolve as soon as it hits the warmer air at the far side... Brilliant but bloomin cold!
I was not so dissappointed about not being in SPLASH after this!

wouldn't worry about not being at splash this year... it was absolute crap !! nothing to see, this show is getting worse every year. Popham is a much better show and if you want a REALLY good show then go to Blois in France.
