Stolen Engines Empty
PostSubject: Stolen Engines   Stolen Engines Icon_minipostedTue Mar 26, 2013 10:55 pm

Hi ALL

We have been contacted by our microlighting colleague in Spain who have asked that we publicise the theft of six Rotax engines and associated instruments from their hangar at Aeri Club Alt Camp of Vallmoll (Tarragona-Catalunya-Spain) six engines Rotax 912 (100CV 3 and 3 of 80CV) and aeronautical varied instrumentation.

They also sent on photos which I can't figure how to post.

The thieves obviously used bolt cutters or something similar to remove the engines, so apart from the engines the aircraft are also badly damaged.

The engine serial numbers are below.

5645830 - 5645618 - 4407737 - 4410669 - 4406796 - 5643909

Also anyone buying a rotax engine who isn't sure of its provenance should check the list of stolen engines on
Rotax-aircraft-engines.com
